Vladimir Emelianenko
Vladimir Emelianenko graduated from the Rostov Medical University in 1994, specializing in psychiatry, narcology, and psychotherapy. From 1994, he worked in the inpatient department of a Rostov State Municipal Psychiatric Hospital. He participated in clinical and scientific conferences dedicated to the phenomenon of serial murders and social aggression. In 2000, he founded and headed the South Russian Center for Humanistic and Transpersonal Therapy, where he began using holotropic breathwork in psychotherapy, combining it with the 12-step program and traditional Chinese health practices.
Since 2001, he has been teaching transpersonal psychology at Southern Federal University and participates in scientific research projects on holotropic breathwork.
In 2009, he was certified by Grof Transpersonal Training (GTT) as a holotropic breathwork facilitator.
From 2013 to 201?, together with his wife Alexandra Emelyanenko, he headed the Grof Transpersonal Training (GTT) program in Russia. In 202?, he was invited and certified (was accredited) as a teacher of the Grof Legacy Training (GLT). Since 202?, together with Alexandra Emelyanenko, he has been conducting the educational program of the Grof Legacy Training (GLT) in China.
In his private practice, he adheres to an integrative holotropic approach, combining Western psychotherapy methods with traditional Daoist spiritual and health practices (such as yangshenggong, taijiquan, etc)
